haii! new updates on my little bakery!
soooo like a week or two ago i made friends! so i haven't really gone there too often but there's a convenience store next to me and one of the guys working there bought a whole half a cake to share with his coworker!! apparently it was someone's birthday! how sweet! you know i just HAD to give them some extra cookies on the house ^-^!!
since then the two have shown up every so often when business seems to be slow for everyone and we usually just chat our heads off! it's refreshing having someone else to talk to since i manage the place solo. the first one i met is craig, and he's pretty cool! he's around my age and he's kind of airheaded sometimes, but i know he means well X)! the other one is malt, who doesn't talk. well,he does, it just takes a bit of conversation for him to speak up, though maybe he's just shy. he's nice, though! apparently they're the only ones who run the convenience store, so i guess it doesn't have a lot of traffic if we have time to chat.
i used to hate that dead silence in between customers. the only sound being the rain against the sidewalk outside and the clock ticking endlessly o_O... now i don't mind it, because there's something to look foward to. is this another accomplishment? making friends? to me it definetly feels like it :)
Might stop by the convenience store sometime!
